The plant itself can grow up to 15 feet tall with leaves ranging from five inches across at their narrowest point all the way up two three feet wide!

The hemp flower itself can range from being a light green color with some orange hues, but it often appears brownish due to resin buildup. You can buy hemp flower at dispensaries or online; we don't necessarily recommend you purchase from a dispensary if you're in a legalized state. The reason for this is with the overhead a brick and mortar cannabis dispensary must pay for, often the price of your hemp buds will inflate. In addition, most cannabis dispensaries focus on cannabis and not premium hemp flower, so the quality of CBD buds they carry is often low.

When buying CBD flowers online make sure they have been tested by an accredited lab and look for the seal of approval from one of these organizations: The Clean Green Certification, Dem Pure, Certified Kind or ProVerde Laboratories. If purchasing online, read reviews and check the company's website to see how it verifies the quality and safety of its products. • Color

Hemp flowers should be a light green or golden color; if they're darker than this then they may have been over-dried and lost some of their potency. This is not always the case as some genetics are naturally darker green or brown, but it's a good rule of thumb. The pistils (hairs) range from white or cream colored, to orange or red. When properly dried out, the buds will snap off cleanly from the stem and will feel dry to the touch but not brittle.

• Size & Shape

The size of the buds is not as important as their shape. They should be dense and sticky, with a strong aromatic smell. Some buds will be conical, while others may have an asymmetrical shape. What is most important is the density. The buds range from quite dense in indica hemp buds like our Immortal hemp strain, to spongy and fluffy, like our sativa dominant Eden strain.

What you want to avoid is overly airy hemp buds known as "larf". These are immature buds or just low quality bad genetics. It's a slang term for buds that are smaller and less developed than the ones on top. These buds, which are usually wispy or fluffy, grow on the lower branches of cannabis plants. Typically, their immaturity is attributed to a lack of light penetration due to living in the shadows of the bigger, topmost flowers (called "colas"), although other environmental variables can produce similar effects.

• Trichomes

These are the tiny crystals that cover the outside of the hemp flower and are where most of the CBD and THC are found. The trichomes should be clear or milky white; if they're amber in color then the flowers may have been over-dried, or harvested past optimal potency. It is worth noting that some growers will wait for the trichomes to turn amber to increase CBD percentages. You won't be able to see the color of the trichomes without a jewelers loop or magnifying glass.

When looking for top quality hemp flower to smoke, it's important to look for signs of freshness like a light green or golden color, snap cleanly off from the stem, dry but not brittle, dense & sticky with a strong aromatic smell. Clear or milky white trichomes indicate high potency. Amber colored trichomes may be past their prime which means the THC and CBD content has begun to degrade.

• Terpenes

The smell of the hemp flower is a good indication of its quality. Look for an earthy or floral scent. A premium hemp bud will have a smell which is almost overpowering; if it's not too pungent then this may indicate over-drying or even mold on your flowers! Terpenes are aromatic oils found in hemp and other plants. They give each strain its unique aroma and flavor profile, as well as influence the effects you can expect from smoking them (i.e., relaxing vs energizing).

If your goal is to make extracts (e.g., oils) from raw material, then an untrimmed bud with all of its plant matter intact may be better suited toward this end. We recommend purchasing pre-rolled hemp flower joints, if you're new to smoking hemp flowers; otherwise it can be a hassle trying to roll joints by hand! It's really up to personal preference whether one should buy trimmed vs untrimmed cannabis plants and how much money they want to spend on them, as both options do have their benefits.

• Organic Buds

When purchasing hemp flower, it's important to look for organic products only. This will ensure that the CBD potency is high and there are no harmful chemicals like pesticides or solvents used in the growing process, which can have adverse health effects over time if consumed regularly. The best way to find out if a company has an organic certification is by asking them directly; most reputable businesses should be able to provide documentation or explain how they grow and what methods they use. It's also important to note that a certification does not always mean the product is truly organic, so discernment is key. Some hemp companies use the term "organic" solely as a marketing gimmick, while others are true to their word and produce only organic CBD and CBG flower.

Note: Not all plants grown in soil qualify as "organic” because some companies use synthetic fertilizers on their crops which do not meet USDA guidelines, but can still legally be labeled ORGANIC! You'll want to make sure that you're buying from a company who grows only organic hemp buds in living soil.

• Delta 8 Hemp Flower

Delta 8 hemp flower is a relatively new form of cannabinoid that has been gaining popularity. It's similar to the delta nine-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) found in cannabis but with less psychoactive effects. The problem with delta 8 hemp buds is they are not natural products. The hemp buds are sprayed with delta 8 extracts, produced with carcinogenic acids! That is why Dreamland Organics refuses to sell any delta 8 products what so ever! Many people are unaware of the dangers of delta 8.

We don't sell delta 8 gummies, delta 8 vape carts, or anything of the sort. We realize that most CBD flower brands sell delta 8 and do not inform the consumer of the potential risks. Even so called organic CBD brands sell delta 8 flower and products, when delta 8 is the opposite of organic. We don't care solely about making a quick buck off of this toxic fad. • Craft Hemp Flower Vs Industrial Hemp Flower

Industrial hemp is typically grown in large fields and contains less than 0.3% THC. The USDA has set this amount as a mandated minimum for any plants to be considered eligible under Federal regulations, which means that most products on the market will have less than this percentage of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).

Craft hemp flower is more likely to contain higher levels of cannabinoids because it's produced from small farms who use organic methods without chemical fertilizers or pesticides, so their yields aren't as large as industrial harvests and the plants get much more care. Craft hemp farms employ the same standards as indoor growers where every plant gets attention every day!

Industrial grade cannabis buds tend not to have much of a flavor profile; whereas craft bud growers use indica and sativa-dominant strains with stronger terpene profiles like Kimbo Kush, Dream Fuel, Eden or Immortal.

Industrial hemp farms grow their plants like wheat, soy or corn in huge fields that have to be driven, not walked. It's simply impossible to care for each plant. They just plant their hemp crop, set up an irrigation system and hope for the best at harvest.

Craft hemp flower farms also tend to cure their buds longer and dry them properly. Large industrial hemp farms often lack enough drying space, forcing them to dry their hemp plants on the ground! • Sativa, Indica, Or Hybrid Hemp Strains? What's the difference?

The three main types of cannabis strains are sativa, indica, and hybrids. Sativas are known for their uplifting and cerebral effects, while indicas are more associated with a sedative "stoned" feeling. Hybrids are a mix of the two.

Hemp flower can come from any one of these varieties but is typically categorized as either hemp or CBD flower.
